Software Engineer I, ITC

Role Overview

As a Full Stack Software Engineer within the Global Technology organization, you will collaborate with peer engineers, product managers, and architects to develop and maintain scalable, cloud-native front-end and back-end applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications and services providing end-to-end functionality.
• Implement dynamic, responsive web interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services.
• Develop and manage NoSQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Write unit and integration tests to maintain high code quality standards.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across the full stack.
• Integrate with and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in Agile processes including sprint planning and code reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with front-end technologies like React.
• Experience with server-side programming such as Node.js or Python.
• Expertise in NoSQL databases.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, including serverless architectures.
• Proficiency with Git or GitHub.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and TDD.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
