Django Backend Developer

Role Overview

We're looking for a passionate Python Backend Developer to build secure, scalable, and high-performance backend systems. You will collaborate with Frontend, AI/ML, QA, and DevOps teams to develop enterprise-grade applications while following modern software engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework (DRF).
• Develop secure and well-documented REST APIs.
• Build asynchronous task processing using Celery and maintain Redis.
• Design efficient database schemas and optimize PostgreSQL and MySQL performance.
• Integrate third-party services including payment gateways, SMS gateways, and cloud storage like AWS S3.
• Implement enterprise-grade security including JWT, OAuth2, and RBAC.
• Write unit and integration tests using Pytest or Unittest.
• Follow clean Git workflows and participate in Agile ceremonies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in backend development with Python and Django.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous task queues and caching.
• Experience with relational databases and ORM optimization.
• Ability to integrate complex third-party APIs and cloud storage.
• Proficiency in version control using Git.
