Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Network Engineer with expertise in designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable cloud networking solutions on Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud networking services, routing, NAT, DNS, Application Gateway, and Kubernetes networking to support enterprise-grade environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud networking infrastructure on Azure or GCP.
- Configure and maintain virtual networks, subnets, routing, DNS, NAT, firewall rules, and network security components.
- Deploy, configure, and optimize Azure Application Gateway or equivalent cloud load balancing solutions.
- Configure and manage networking for Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or equivalent Kubernetes platforms.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, routing, DNS resolution, and application access issues.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams to implement secure architectures.
- Monitor network performance and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Document network architecture and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in cloud networking.
- Strong understanding of IP routing, route tables, NAT, and network traffic management.
- Experience with Azure Application Gateway or cloud-native load balancing.
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or similar managed Kubernetes platforms.
- Knowledge of hybrid connectivity (VPN) and cloud network security.
- Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code is an advantage.
- Relevant certifications such as AZ-700, AZ-104, or Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer preferred.
