Job Description
Role Overview
The AI/ML CoE team in India is an integral part of the global Domestic Technology Strategy. The team is responsible for building solutions using AI/ML technologies to cater to various use cases for Japan Retail business within Nomura's global financial services network.
Responsibilities
- Architect robust, secure, and maintainable solutions aligned with business and technical requirements
- Carryout agile development on Python based applications
- Participate in POC to explore & leverage AI/ML technology
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing and contribute to the overall development process
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team on best practices and coding standards
- Troubleshoot production issues as needed, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution
- Take ownership of end-to-end delivery, from solution design through implementation, testing, deployment, and support
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with Relational databases
- Knowledge of front-end technologies and UI development
- Experience with containerization technologies
