Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a collaborative Backend Developer to join our project and partner closely with our Frontend Developer. You will be responsible for architecture, database design, server-side logic, and building secure APIs that feed directly into our frontend application.
Responsibilities
- Build, test, and document RESTful APIs or GraphQL for seamless frontend integration.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT or session-based auth.
- Collaborate directly with the frontend developer to define API contracts, payload formats, and data requirements.
- Set up database models and optimize queries for performance and speed.
- Handle server deployment, hosting, and environment management.
- Create clean endpoints, handle CORS, and mock API data for frontend development.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL or MySQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB).
- Proven ability to create clean endpoints and handle API integration.
- Proficiency with Git and GitHub for collaborative branching.
- Experience using Postman or Swagger for API specifications.
