Backend Engineer (Node.js, Dialer/Telephony/IVR)

Role Overview

As a Backend Developer specializing in dialer and telephony systems, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the core backend components of our omnichannel dialer platform. Your expertise in telephony APIs, IVR systems, and Node.js will be crucial in delivering reliable and scalable communication solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build RESTful APIs using Node.js
• Optimize PostgreSQL + Redis data flow
• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js for our omnichannel dialer platform
• Integrate telephony APIs to enable outbound and inbound calling, SMS, and other communication channels
• Design and implement IVR flows, call routing, and automation features
• Optimize call handling, queuing, and agent management for high concurrency and reliability
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and engineering teams to define technical requirements and deliver solutions
• Ensure platform scalability, security, and performance standards are met
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements
• Stay updated with the latest telephony and communication technologies and incorporate best practices

Requirements

• Proven experience in backend development with a focus on telephony or dialer systems
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design
• Experience with high-concurrency system optimization
