Role Overview
A Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer prevents product defects by building, managing, and improving the entire production process. Unlike a test engineer who focuses on finding bugs in an existing product, this role works early in the cycle to ensure the team follows correct procedures so errors do not happen in the first place.
Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and improve the entire production process to prevent defects.
- Implement procedures early in the development cycle to ensure quality standards.
- Work proactively to prevent errors rather than just identifying bugs.
