Web Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and creative Web Developer to design, develop, maintain and improve websites and web applications. The candidate should have good technical knowledge, problem-solving skills and an eye for creating responsive and user-friendly websites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive websites and web applications.
• Write clean, efficient and well-structured code.
• Design user-friendly and responsive web interfaces.
• Troubleshoot and fix website issues and technical errors.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance and search engines.
• Test websites across different browsers and devices.
• Integrate APIs, databases and third-party services when required.
• Update and maintain existing websites.
• Work closely with designers, content teams and other developers.
• Ensure website security and functionality.
• Stay updated with current web development technologies and trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Web Development or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with responsive web design.
• Knowledge of frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, Vue.js or similar is an advantage.
• Knowledge of databases and backend technologies is preferred.
• Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
