AI/ML Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated AI/ML Engineer Intern to join our team and work on real-world Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in machine learning, data science, Python programming, and emerging AI technologies. As an intern, you will work closely with experienced developers and engineers to build, test, optimize, and deploy AI/ML solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement machine learning and AI models for real-world applications.
• Collect, clean, preprocess, and analyze datasets.
• Build and evaluate ML models using appropriate algorithms and techniques.
• Work with supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
• Explore and implement Generative AI, NLP, Computer Vision, or LLM-based solutions where applicable.
• Perform model training, testing, evaluation, and optimization.
• Develop data pipelines and prepare datasets for machine learning.
• Integrate AI/ML models into software applications and APIs.
• Research new AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Collaborate with software developers and other team members.
• Document experiments, models, code, and technical findings.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Good knowledge of Python.
• Understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals.
• Familiarity with NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn.
• Basic understanding of statistics and data preprocessing.
• Knowledge of SQL is an advantage.
• Familiarity with TensorFlow or PyTorch is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Git/GitHub.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Generative AI or LLMs.
• Familiarity with OpenAI APIs or other AI APIs.
• Knowledge of NLP or Computer Vision.
• Experience with Hugging Face.
• Knowledge of FastAPI or Flask for deploying ML models.
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
