Job Description
Role Overview
We're looking for an experienced Automation Engineer who can take ownership of end-to-end automation initiatives while mentoring team members and contributing to a high-performing QA team.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts
- Build and enhance automation frameworks using Cucumber (BDD)
- Implement automation using the Page Object Model (POM)
- Perform backend validation using SQL
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams
- Review automation code and mentor junior engineers
- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines
- Drive automation strategy and ensure timely delivery
Requirements
- 2+ years of Automation Testing experience
- Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools
- Cucumber (BDD) Framework
- Page Object Model (POM)
- SQL for database validation
- Git & CI/CD (Jenkins is a plus)
- Agile/Scrum methodology
