Backend Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Backend Software Engineer with at least 1 year of professional experience in backend application development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs. You will work closely with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and RESTful APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Integrate backend services with databases, third-party APIs, and frontend applications.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements.
• Create unit tests and support integration testing.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 1+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Good knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Understanding of software design principles and design patterns.
• Experience with SQL queries and database design.
• Basic understanding of Microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of API security best practices.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks.
• Understanding of Git workflows.
