Backend Developer – PHP / Laravel

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer – PHP/Laravel with 3+ years of experience in developing scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications and REST APIs. The candidate should have strong experience in Laravel, MySQL, API development, and server-side application development, along with hands-on experience with AWS or Linux-based production servers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using PHP and Laravel.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Implement business logic, validations, authentication, and authorization.
• Design and optimize MySQL databases and queries.
• Work with Laravel Eloquent ORM, Migrations, Seeders, Middleware, Jobs, Queues, and Scheduler.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, email, SMS, and other external services.
• Develop secure and reusable backend components.
• Troubleshoot application and production issues.
• Optimize API, database, and application performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, UI/UX, and product teams.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot applications in AWS/Linux server environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in PHP/Laravel backend development.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and coding standards.
• Experience with Git, Composer, and Postman.
