Backend Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Backend Intern to assist in developing and maintaining backend services, working on REST APIs, and contributing to database design and optimization. This role offers exposure to scalable architectures and cloud technologies within a collaborative engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Work on REST APIs and backend integrations.
• Learn and contribute to database design and optimization using MySQL.
• Support implementation of scalable and efficient backend architectures.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and engineering teams to deliver features.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance improvements.
• Gain exposure to cloud technologies and deployment processes.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Good understanding of Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs).
• Basic knowledge of Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with SQL databases such as MySQL.
• Understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work from our Indore office for the complete internship duration.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Git and version control.
• Exposure to Redis, Kafka, AWS, or Docker.
• Experience with personal, academic, or open-source projects.

Benefits

• Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
