Junior Android Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Android Developer with 2+ years of hands-on experience to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, reusable, and reliable Android applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with external data sources and APIs (RESTful, JSON).
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Requirements

• B. Tech in Computer Science or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Android app development.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.
• Experience with third-party libraries, APIs, and JSON parsing.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Working knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git.
• Good understanding of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
