Junior Developer

Role Overview

This Developer position has design, development and maintenance responsibility for the software applications and processes associated with our product oriented company. Specifically this role will initially focus on the developing application as per requirements provided by the product owner. The role requires functioning as a member of an Agile Scrum team and will require direct interaction with business users. This is a part/full time position with the expectation that the candidate will work 4/8 hours daily 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Working as a Full Stack developer, building a new integrated application from scratch, which will be one of the core USPs from our company
• Participating in product decisions by working closely with Product Owner
• Contributing to and enforcing great coding practices through code reviews
• Sharing knowledge with your colleagues during regular Knowledge Sharing sessions
• Working closely together with client to integrate the functionality into an existing ecosystem (currently RoR + Angular)

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience
• Hands on experience in NodeJS / NestJS
• 2+ years of Angular (>9) experience
• Comfortable with HTML, CSS/SCSS
• Great attention to code quality & coding standards
• Good grasp of architectural principles and patterns
• Proficiency in Relational (SQL Server or similar) / Schema-less Databases (MongoDB preferable)
• Very good communication skills in English
• Desire to work in a polyglot ecosystem (NodeJS, Angular, React)
