Junior Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced backend engineer to design, develop, and operate robust backend systems. You will build APIs, integrations, and asynchronous workflows, converting complex operational processes into reliable software solutions while working with structured and unstructured data.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, debug, and operate backend systems.
• Build APIs, integrations, and asynchronous workflows.
• Develop automation and intelligence across distribution and supply-chain processes.
• Integrate and orchestrate ERP, OMS, WMS, external APIs, and partner portals.
• Convert manual and complex operational processes into reliable software solutions.
• Work with structured and unstructured operational data.
• Design efficient data models and write optimized SQL queries.
• Apply LLMs, computer-use technologies, and traditional automation where appropriate.
• Use deterministic software approaches where they provide greater reliability than AI.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in system design, implementation, production debugging, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong backend engineering fundamentals.
• Strong understanding of APIs and system integrations.
• Experience working with asynchronous workflows.
• Strong SQL and data-modelling skills.
• Ability to develop and troubleshoot production systems.
• Comfortable working in lean, cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and ownership mindset.
• Ability to work through ambiguity and build practical solutions.

Good to Have

• Experience in e-commerce, logistics, supply chain, or ERP systems.
• Experience integrating or working with LLMs/AI models.
• Experience with model training or AI integration.
• Experience with OMS, WMS, partner portals, or similar enterprise systems.
