Laravel PHP Software Engineer

Role Overview

A Laravel PHP Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the Laravel framework. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable and secure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel and PHP.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Optimize database queries and manage MySQL/PostgreSQL databases.
• Ensure security best practices and performance optimization.
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues.
• Collaborate with frontend developers (Vue.js, React, or Blade templates).
• Use Git for version control and follow Agile development processes.
• Write unit tests and ensure software quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in PHP development with Laravel framework.
• Strong knowledge of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) and MVC architecture.
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Vue.js (optional).
• Understanding of Cloud services (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.).
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a team player mindset.
