Role Overview
A Laravel PHP Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the Laravel framework. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable and secure solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel and PHP.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Optimize database queries and manage MySQL/PostgreSQL databases.
- Ensure security best practices and performance optimization.
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues.
- Collaborate with frontend developers (Vue.js, React, or Blade templates).
- Use Git for version control and follow Agile development processes.
- Write unit tests and ensure software quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in PHP development with Laravel framework.
- Strong knowledge of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) and MVC architecture.
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Vue.js (optional).
- Understanding of Cloud services (AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.).
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a team player mindset.
