MERN Stack Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a MERN Stack Developer with around 1 year of hands-on experience to join our development team in Mohali. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in JavaScript and experience building web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. You will work closely with developers, designers, QA, and product teams to develop reliable, scalable, and user-friendly web applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using the MERN stack.
• Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.js.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
• Work with MongoDB and Mongoose for database development and management.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services as required.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and product teams.
• Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
• Use Git and version control systems for managing code.
• Maintain technical documentation and project-related records.

Requirements

• 1 year of professional or hands-on experience in MERN Stack development.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+).
• Good experience with React.js and Redux/Context API.
• Proficiency in Node.js and Express.js.
• Good understanding of MongoDB and Mongoose.
• Experience working with REST APIs and JSON.
• Good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Familiarity with Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or Material UI.
• Understanding of Git/version control.
• Basic knowledge of authentication mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth.
• Familiarity with deployment platforms such as Vercel, Netlify, AWS, or DigitalOcean.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
