PHP Laravel Backend Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a PHP Laravel Backend Developer with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using PHP 8+ and Laravel.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Work with MySQL, Eloquent ORM, database design, joins, indexes, and query optimization.
• Implement Laravel features such as Authentication, Middleware, Validation, Queues, Jobs, Events, Notifications, and API Resources.
• Debug production issues and optimize application/database performance.
• Follow secure coding practices and implement proper authentication and authorization.
• Use Git/GitHub/GitLab for version control and code collaboration.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Perform API and application testing using Postman, PHPUnit, or Pest.

Requirements

• Strong PHP 8+ and OOP knowledge.
• Strong hands-on experience with Laravel.
• Good knowledge of MySQL, SQL, REST APIs, JSON, Git, and Composer.
• Understanding of MVC, authentication, authorization, API security, and debugging.
• Basic knowledge of Redis/caching and Linux is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
