Software Developer Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate Software Developer Intern who is eager to learn and build high-quality software applications. The candidate will work with our development team on designing, developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software solutions. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications and features.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle.
• Convert technical requirements into functional software solutions.
• Debug and troubleshoot application issues.
• Write unit tests and perform application testing.
• Work with APIs, databases, and third-party services.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and other team members.
• Maintain technical documentation.
• Use Git/GitHub for source-code management.
• Learn and adopt new technologies based on project requirements.

Requirements

• Good understanding of programming fundamentals.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, or C#.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming.
• Basic knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
• Understanding of REST APIs is an advantage.
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to Have

• Experience developing academic, personal, or open-source projects.
• Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with React, Node.js, Django, Flask, or Spring Boot.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Docker.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts.
