Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for experienced SAP ABAP on HANA Developers with hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA and modern ABAP development. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in building, enhancing, and optimizing SAP applications using HANA-native development approaches, covering backend development, data modeling, integrations, and SAP Fiori-based applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain ABAP applications on SAP S/4HANA.
- Develop and optimize CDS Views, AMDP procedures, and OData services.
- Apply HANA code pushdown techniques to improve application and database performance.
- Develop and support SAP Fiori and UI5 applications.
- Build and extend applications and services using the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).
- Perform HANA data modeling and support application performance optimization.
- Develop technical solutions based on functional and business requirements.
- Support integrations with SAP and external systems.
- Participate in implementation, rollout, enhancement, and production-support activities.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and code reviews.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, developers, and other cross-functional teams.
- Follow SAP development standards, security requirements, and software engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
- At least 1 year of experience working with SAP S/4HANA or ABAP on HANA.
- Practical experience with modern ABAP technologies such as CDS, AMDP, OData, and RAP.
- Experience working on at least one SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, or production-support project.
- Experience developing and supporting applications in enterprise or production environments.
