Role Overview
NVIDIA is seeking a Lead Design Automation Tool development Engineer for the Tegra SOC development group. You will be responsible for architecting and crafting end-to-end tool flows to auto-generate system fabrics, sub-systems, and SOC hierarchies, focusing on user interface, maintainability, and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Define next-gen EDA workflows for top chip designers and verification engineers.
- Architect and develop tools and methodologies that integrate AI into the chip design cycle.
- Analyze productivity bottlenecks and improve data analytics and visualizations of day-to-day workflows.
- Debug complex and critical problems impacting the team.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for debugging.
- Experience in software architecture, development, and testing.
- Solid understanding of Linux and excellent coding skills in Python or Perl.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to RTL design/verification tools such as VCS or Verdi and methodologies like UVM.
- Experience implementing scalable infrastructure with frontend UX, RESTful APIs, databases, and backend automation.
- Experience deploying ML components in tool stages.
- Linux administration, revision control, and CI/CD systems like Jenkins.
