Role Overview
At NxtPe, we’re building financial services infrastructure that powers commerce across Sub-Saharan Africa. We’re looking for passionate Backend Engineering Interns who are curious, ambitious, and eager to learn by building industry-defining products that impact people and lives at scale.
Responsibilities
- Develop backend services using Java & Spring Boot
- Design and build RESTful APIs for real-world applications
- Work with databases and third-party integrations
- Debug, optimize, and improve application performance
- Collaborate with experienced engineers through code reviews
- Learn modern backend architecture, cloud technologies, and microservices
Requirements
- Must be from a Tier 1/2 college/university
- Prior paid internship experience is a must
