Role Overview
We are seeking an Integration Developer with expertise in the Jitterbit Harmony Platform to develop, test, and maintain robust back-end integration services. This role requires strong collaboration skills and proficiency in handling various API standards and database interactions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain back-end components and services, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, participate in technical discussions, and deliver solutions aligned with project goals.
- Implement and consume RESTful and SOAP APIs, ensuring secure, reliable, and well-documented integrations with internal and external systems.
- Work with relational databases to design schemas, write optimized queries, and manage data integrity and security.
- Participate in code reviews, follow best practices for code quality, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
- Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code reliability and support automated testing pipelines.
- Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues in a timely manner, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
- Document technical solutions, workflows, and processes for future reference and team knowledge sharing.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate technical concepts to team members and stakeholders.

Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Jitterbit Harmony Platform and Jitterbit Studio for developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining integration workflows.
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting integrations between cloud and on-premise applications using Jitterbit.
- Strong understanding of REST and SOAP web services, including JSON, XML, WSDL, and API authentication mechanisms.
- Experience creating data mappings, transformations, and orchestration workflows for system integrations.
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries, performing CRUD operations, joins, and troubleshooting data-related issues using relational databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience using Jitterbit Data Loader for data migration, synchronization, and bulk data operations.
- Knowledge of API testing and troubleshooting using tools such as Postman.
- Experience working with structured data formats including JSON, XML, and CSV for application integrations.
- Knowledge of Git for source code management, including branching, commits, merges, and pull requests.
- Ability to troubleshoot integration failures, analyze logs, perform root cause analysis, and resolve production issues.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Good to Have Skills: Exposure to Java 8+, Maven, JDBC, or Spring Boot; Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure; Experience integrating enterprise applications such as Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics; Understanding of ETL concepts; Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions; Basic knowledge of Docker; Understanding of asynchronous integrations, message queues, webhooks, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in back-end development.
- Education qualification: Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
