Developer - Data Engineering

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate Data Engineer to join our Technology Solutions department in India to build adaptive, future-ready solutions for the world's most ambitious agencies and clients.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and deploy scalable and reusable systems that handle large amounts of data.
• Collaborate with product owners and data scientists to build new data products.
• Ensure data quality and reliability.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Linux, Bash, Python, and SQL experience.
• 2+ years using Spark and other frameworks to process large volumes of data.
• 2+ years using Parquet, ORC, or other columnar file formats.
• 2+ years using AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud services (e.g., Glue, Dataflow, Data Factory, EMR, Dataproc, HDInsights, Athena, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Experience designing and managing data flows and APIs.
• BS, MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent real-world experience.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or Airflow.
• Experience with C++ or other popular languages.
• Experience setting up Petabytes of data and understanding partitioning, clustering, and file sizes.
• Experience with data cataloging using Hive metastore or Glue.
