Role Overview

Ohhpro Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a passionate Android Developer to join our team in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly mobile applications for the Android platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications.
• Build advanced applications for the Android platform using best coding practices.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver new features.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services into Android applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Perform unit testing to ensure application reliability, usability, and performance.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application bugs and performance issues.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Stay updated with the latest Android development trends, tools, and technologies.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Android application development.
• Strong knowledge of Java and/or Kotlin.
• Experience with Android SDK and Android Studio.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and third-party API integration.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Knowledge of Material Design principles and Android UI guidelines.
• Familiarity with app architecture patterns such as MVVM or MVP.
• Experience with Firebase services is an added advantage.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in publishing Android applications on the Google Play Store.
• Familiarity with Jetpack components, Room Database, LiveData, ViewModel, and Coroutines is a plus.
