Mobile App Developer

Role Overview

OMCL India builds modern software products and mobile applications for startups and growing businesses. We are looking for a React Native Engineer who enjoys building products, takes ownership of their work, and can independently deliver features from requirements to release. You will be working on production applications used by real customers, building new features, improving user experience, and maintaining release quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain React Native applications for iOS and Android.
• Build production-ready features from requirements through testing and release.
• Build reusable, maintainable, and scalable components.
• Integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
• Work closely with backend developers, designers, and product teams to deliver polished user experiences.
• Debug issues, improve performance, and maintain application stability.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of professional React Native development experience.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of React Hooks and React Navigation.
• Experience with REST APIs, Git, and state management.
• Good understanding of mobile app architecture, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Android and iOS build and release processes.
• Must have shipped at least one mobile application that is currently live on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Expo.
• Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Push Notifications, Analytics).
• React Query (TanStack Query).
• Zustand or Redux Toolkit.
• RevenueCat or other in-app purchase platforms.
• Native Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift) experience.
• CI/CD for mobile applications.
• Experience integrating AI APIs.
