AWS Cloud Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Oracle Cloud Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and services. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud architecture, Oracle Cloud services, and best practices for deploying and maintaining scalable cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services and environments.
• Ensure the security, availability, and performance of Oracle Cloud applications and systems.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for managing cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams for cloud-based application deployment.
• Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions for Oracle Cloud environments.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle Cloud features, services, and industry trends.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions.
• Document cloud architecture, processes, and procedures for internal use and compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Oracle Cloud Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services and architecture, AWS, or Azure.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Oracle Cloud certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect, Oracle Autonomous Database Specialist), Azure, or AWS.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies.
• Knowledge of Oracle database administration and performance tuning.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
