Android Application Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Android Developer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in developing, testing, and maintaining Android applications. The candidate should be able to work independently, troubleshoot application issues, and collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and the product team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Build responsive, reliable, and user-friendly Android applications.
• Integrate REST APIs, JSON, third-party SDKs, and payment/API services.
• Implement and maintain Deep Linking, Android App Links, and Universal/App Link related functionality.
• Implement push notifications using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application crashes and performance issues.
• Work with databases such as SQLite/Room where required.
• Publish and maintain applications on the Google Play Store.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java.
• Good understanding of Android SDK and Android Studio.
• Experience with XML layouts and Android UI components.
• Mandatory understanding of Deep Linking and Android App Links.
• Knowledge of Git/GitHub or other version-control systems.
• Basic knowledge of MVVM/MVC architecture is preferred.
