Role Overview
The Software Engineer designs, develops, tests, and maintains software components within the OneStream platform, building high-quality features using established design patterns. This role owns assigned features through the full SDLC, collaborating with Product and QA to develop user interfaces, APIs, and data access logic within a SaaS-oriented architecture on Microsoft Azure.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software components.
- Implement features using established design patterns and best practices.
- Contribute to UI development using Angular, React, Blazor, and WPF.
- Develop and integrate APIs and services following RESTful standards.
- Write clean, maintainable code with appropriate unit test coverage.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate development and refactoring.
- Participate in peer code reviews and assist in diagnosing software defects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience with object-oriented programming and the Microsoft technology stack, including C#, .NET, and ASP.NET.
- Basic experience with modern UI frameworks such as Angular, React, Blazor, or WPF.
- Familiarity with JSON and XML.
Nice to Have
- Experience building enterprise or platform-oriented applications.
- Familiarity with cloud-hosted or SaaS-based systems.
- Introductory experience with automated testing practices.
- Azure Fundamentals or entry-level Azure certification.
