DevOps+Multicloud Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps+Multicloud Engineer to join our team in designing and developing reusable terraform modules that meet Optum security standards. The ideal candidate will design and develop re-usable GitHub actions and workflows that enable product teams to deploy their application to cloud platforms in an efficient, safe, and secure manner meeting Optum security standards.

Responsibilities

• We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps+Multicloud Engineer to join our team in designing and developing reusable terraform modules that meet Optum security standards.
• The ideal candidate will design and develop re-usable GitHub actions and workflows that enable product teams to deploy their application to cloud platforms in an efficient, safe, and secure manner meeting Optum security standards.
• Develop Architecture diagrams for specific cloud services that follow all the industry as well as Optum best practices and incorporate well-architected Framework principals.
• Manage Azure, AWS, and GCP cloud accounts, monitor them for security and vulnerabilities, and address any issues promptly.
• Provide guidance to product teams to develop cloud-native solutions as per Optum standards.
• Provide guidance to users to migrate their solutions from on-prem to cloud platforms.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of all deliverables.

Requirements

• Expert cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP – Working experience in 2/3 cloud platforms mandatory.
• Expert in developing reusable terraform modules – Working experience with terraform modules mandatory.
• Expert in developing GitHub actions and workflows.
• Expert in developing architecture diagrams for cloud services – both cloud-agnostic as well as cloud-specific.
• Good hands-on experience in using AI tools like Copilot, Open AI models etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Technical Skills & Experience:, Expertise in cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, GCP.
• Experience with developing reusable terraform modules.
• Experience with developing GitHub actions and workflows.
• Experience with developing architecture diagrams for cloud services.
