Software Engineer - .net FSE, C#, Azure, AI ML

Role Overview

Optum is looking for a Full Stack C# Developer with 2-3 years of experience to build scalable web applications. This role involves end-to-end ownership of features, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and contributing to AI-enabled solutions to improve health outcomes globally.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using C#, .NET Core, and .NET 6+.
• Develop responsive, user-friendly interfaces in collaboration with UI/UX teams.
• Implement intelligent automation or recommendations.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in agile activities including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability.
• Continuously learn and apply emerging technologies in AI and cloud ecosystems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in full stack development.
• Solid proficiency in C# and .NET (ASPNET Core, Web API, MVC).
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Foundational understanding of AI/ML concepts, including data preparation and basic modeling.
• Familiarity with Git and source control workflows.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Basic knowledge of NoSQL.
