Software Engineer - React JS, Node.Js, SQL, API Mngt

Role Overview

Optum is a global organization that delivers care, aided by technology to help millions of people live healthier lives. As a Software Engineer, you will develop high-performance user interfaces and collaborate within an AI-driven Development Life Cycle to improve health outcomes on a global scale.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance user interfaces using React JS and modern front-end architectures.
• Collaborate with UX/CX designers to translate mockups into clean, accessible, and scalable UI components.
• Write clean, well-documented code adhering to solid engineering principles.
• Use enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows and automate tasks.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and optimal performance.
• Participate in all phases of the AI-driven Development Life Cycle (AI-DLC) within an Agile framework.
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless data flow.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience with React JS (hooks, context, state management).
• 2+ years of experience with Node.js and Express.js.
• 2+ years of experience with TypeScript.
• 2+ years of experience building and consuming RESTful APIs with JSON.
• 1+ years of experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• 1+ years of experience with SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure.
• Experience with containerization using Docker.
