Java Software Engineer

Role Overview

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is looking for an experienced Application Software Developer to design, build, test, and support scalable cloud applications and services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance application features using Java and React
• Design, build, and maintain REST APIs and REST services
• Troubleshoot application, integration, API, and production issues
• Improve application performance, scalability, reliability, monitoring, and observability
• Participate in code reviews and maintain secure coding and quality standards
• Work with QA on unit, integration, functional, and non-functional testing
• Support system maintenance, upgrades, patching, and vulnerability remediation
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, operations, and global teams

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Java
• Strong experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and services
• Experience with the React framework
• Solid debugging, testing, and production-support experience
• Understanding of software architecture, scalability, performance optimization, and secure development
• Ability to work independently and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
