Job Description
Role Overview
As a Forward Deployed AI Engineer, you will design and deploy AI agents and tools in production environments. You’ll work directly with customers to solve concrete problems, turning one-off solutions into scalable agent frameworks and reusable tooling. This role is about making agents actually work at scale.
Responsibilities
- Design and build AI agents that execute multi-step workflows reliably
- Orchestrate agents across tools, APIs, and human-in-the-loop workflows
- Turn customer-specific logic into reusable agent primitives
- Build internal and customer-facing tools to operate, debug, and control agents
- Create systems for validation, review, and manual intervention
- Design strategies to manage large and evolving context, optimizing for accuracy, latency, and cost
- Embed with customers to deploy AI systems into production and iterate quickly
Requirements
- Experience building agents, workflows, or complex automation systems
- Strong systems thinking and comfort with ambiguity
- Hands-on experience shipping production software
- Familiarity with LLM behavior, limitations, and failure modes
