Backend Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Backend Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to join our team in Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi. You will be responsible for designing and managing backend processes, integrating third-party APIs, and ensuring seamless data synchronization across multiple systems. The role focuses on building scalable, reliable, and high-performance services using Python and FastAPI.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage backend processes for application data handling and storage.
• Integrate with external platforms and third-party APIs using OAuth and API keys.
• Develop, schedule, and maintain background jobs, cron jobs, and async workflows.
• Write and optimize MySQL queries for operational and reporting data.
• Debug webhook failures, data sync issues, and production errors using logs.
• Build and maintain REST APIs for modules such as orders, shipping, billing, and inventory.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
• Proven experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and query optimization.
• Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a large codebase.
