Backend Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Backend Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to join our team in New Delhi. You will be responsible for designing and managing backend processes, integrating third-party APIs, and ensuring seamless data synchronization across multiple systems. This role focuses on building scalable, reliable, and high-performance services within an evolving codebase.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage backend processes for application data handling and storage.
• Build and maintain REST APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Integrate with external platforms and third-party APIs (carriers, marketplaces, accounting tools).
• Write and optimize MySQL queries and manage operational data.
• Develop cron jobs, async workflows, and background automation processes.
• Investigate production issues, read logs, and implement fixes for APIs and databases.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Python.
• Proven experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and query optimization.
• Experience integrating and consuming external APIs and handling authentication (OAuth, API keys).
• Proficiency in version control using Git.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
