Associate I AI Engineer

Role Overview

The OSTTRA Technology team is composed of Capital Markets Technology professionals who build, support, and protect the applications that operate our network. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Entry Level AI Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our growing team. You will work at the forefront of both traditional machine learning and cutting-edge generative AI, contributing to AI solutions that address real-world challenges in the financial services industry.

Responsibilities

• Explore and apply generative AI techniques including transformers and large language models for data augmentation, synthetic data generation, and NLP.
• Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to integrate models into existing systems.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns and trends to inform model development.
• Design, build, and train traditional machine learning models such as regression, classification, and clustering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of fundamental AI/ML concepts including supervised/unsupervised learning and deep learning.
• Experience with Python and relevant AI/ML libraries.
• Familiarity with generative AI models and frameworks.
• Proficiency in software engineering principles, data structures, algorithms, and databases.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
