Role Overview
Our Engineering team develops and maintains modern, cloud-based applications and AI-powered solutions that support global business operations. We are seeking a highly motivated Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our engineering team. You will work closely with software engineers, product owners, architects, and subject matter experts to understand product functionality, design effective test strategies, and build robust automation frameworks for complex, high-volume distributed systems.
Responsibilities
- Gain deep knowledge of product requirements, architecture, code flows, and Asset Management/Post-Trade processing.
- Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive automated test frameworks for functional, API, integration, regression, and performance testing using Python.
- Build and execute automated test cases for high-volume, distributed, service-oriented systems including API and database testing.
- Conduct performance validation using JMeter.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide recommendations on testability and quality improvements.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and release teams to ensure continuous product quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or IT with 2-5 years of SDET/QA experience.
- Expertise in software testing methodologies, API performance testing using JMeter, and SQL data validation.
- Hands-on proficiency in building scalable automation solutions using Java or Python, Playwright, JavaScript, and BDD frameworks.
- Specialized experience testing Generative AI, LLMs, AI Agents, Chatbots, Copilots, Prompt Engineering, and RAG solutions.
- Familiarity with LangChain, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, and Vector Databases.
- Experience with AI platforms such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Claude, and Google Gemini.
