QA Engineer / Software Tester (Manual + Automation)

Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated QA Engineer / Software Tester to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our web applications through a combination of manual and automated testing methodologies, covering everything from functional testing to CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements and create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios
• Perform manual testing including functional, regression, smoke, sanity, UI/UX, and exploratory testing
• Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications
• Test REST APIs using tools like Postman
• Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing for responsive websites
• Log, track, and verify bugs with clear reproduction steps and severity ratings
• Run regression suites and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Conduct basic performance, page speed, and load checks
• Verify forms, payment flows, and third-party integrations end to end
• Test database-driven features using SQL
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce, debug, and verify fixes
• Maintain QA documentation and continuously improve automation strategy

• Proven experience in both manual and automated testing
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Ability to work in person
