Job Description

Join the Penn State University Press marketing team and gain experience in the fast-paced worlds of book publishing and publicity!

Tracking review copies of books and other materials sent out for media and awards consideration
Maintaining up-to-date information on review outlets and book prizes in the Press’s internal databases
Preparing manuscripts for advance endorsements
Creating drafts of marketing materials such as fliers and social media graphics in Adobe InDesign
Assisting with the creation and scheduling of social media content and advertising
Scanning published reviews for appropriate blurbs to appear on the web and other marketing materials.

Digital content creation skills and experience with Adobe software is a plus.

Location can be on-site at the Press’s University Park offices, remote, or hybrid.
