Software Engineer Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineer Intern to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in React.js and a passion for building scalable, user-friendly web applications. Experience with Node.js will be considered an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js
• Build reusable components and frontend libraries for future use
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and project managers
• Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Debug and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices
• Work on API integration and frontend-backend connectivity
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in software development
• Strong knowledge of React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Understanding of responsive design principles
• Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations
• Familiarity with Git/version control systems
• Good problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience working with Node.js
• Knowledge of MongoDB or SQL databases
• Understanding of backend development concepts
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
