Software Development Engineer

Role Overview

Join our team to design, develop, test, and deploy software features for our cutting-edge robot platform. You will work in an agile environment, contributing to the full stack and helping build the tools that power our engineering operations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to design, develop, test, and deploy software features for our robot platform.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Debug and resolve bugs across the stack — frontend, backend, or integration layers.
• Participate in code reviews and learn from constructive feedback.
• Work in an agile team environment: sprint planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to internal tools and scripts that support engineering operations.
• Stay curious and explore new technologies that can be applied to our stack.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 0–2 years of software development experience (internships/projects count).
• Familiarity with one or more programming languages: Python, JavaScript, or Go.
• Understanding of basic data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving techniques.
• Exposure to Git or other version control systems.
• Willingness to work in a Linux-based development environment.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with frontend frameworks (e.g., React) or mobile (Flutter).
• Exposure to Docker, CI/CD, or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
• Interest in robotics, automation, or hardware-software integration.
• Past contributions to college clubs, hackathons, open-source projects, or personal tech projects.
