Role Overview
The AI Acceleration (AIA) function within the Chief Marketing Office (CMO) is the single, business-led engine that owns the design, delivery, and scale-up of priority AI capabilities across Commercial. As a Full-stack Software Engineer, you will be involved in complex software development tasks in a hands-on manner, prototyping code, participating in code reviews, and expanding your expertise into Cloud technologies, full-stack software engineering, and DevOps.
Responsibilities
- Develop complex end-to-end software products from system design to productionizing and deployment.
- Work closely with Front-end and Backend engineers to integrate workflows end-to-end.
- Develop features and fix bugs as defined by the product roadmap in an agile manner.
- Implement best practices for engineering standards, QA/Risk Management, CI/CD, and MLOps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Data Scientists, and UI/UX Developers.
- Identify and resolve potential system issues proactively.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-13 years of experience in software development and architecture.
- Strong application development knowledge in Python, JavaScript, Oracle, RDBMS, .Net, or Java.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with DevOps and DevSecOps technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Agile software development processes.
Nice to Have
- Experience building Gen AI and Agentic AI applications using OpenAI, Gemini, Bedrock, LangGraph, LangChain, Vector DB, or Embeddings.
- Exposure to Data Engineering with PySpark, ETL, Databricks, or Azure Data Fabric.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare technology environments.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as GxP and HIPAA.
