Software Test Engineer – Embedded Verification

Role Overview

Design, develop and execute functional, integration, regression, system and exploratory verification activities for embedded software features. You will analyze requirements to develop verification strategies, maintain automated solutions, and execute testing using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) setups and simulators.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain manual and automated verification solutions using Python or C#.
• Develop Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) scenarios and reusable automation assets.
• Execute verification using HIL setups, simulators, and engineering test stations.
• Perform regression testing and investigate software defects through debugging and log analysis.
• Contribute to CI/CD-based automated regression execution and process improvements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in embedded software verification or firmware validation.
• Strong experience in embedded systems, automation, and hardware/software integration.
• BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering.
• Ability to independently own feature verification within Agile teams.
