Role Overview
As a Software Test Engineer II, you will design, develop, and execute functional, integration, regression, system, and exploratory verification activities for embedded software features. You will play a critical role in ensuring software stability and reliability through comprehensive verification strategies and automated solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute verification activities for embedded software features.
- Analyze software requirements to develop test cases, traceability, and documentation.
- Develop and maintain manual and automated verification solutions using Python or C#.
- Develop Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) scenarios and reusable automation assets.
- Execute verification using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) setups, simulators, and laboratory environments.
- Maintain verification environments, including device provisioning and firmware flashing.
- Perform regression testing and investigate software defects through debugging and log analysis.
- Contribute to CI/CD-based automated regression execution and process improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in embedded software verification or firmware validation.
- Strong experience in embedded systems, automation, and hardware/software integration.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical, Biomedical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Ability to work independently and solve complex problems within an Agile team.
