Game Developer Intern (Unity / HTML5 / Web Games)

Role Overview

PiggyPath is building a gamified finance learning platform where education is delivered through interactive lessons and engaging mini-games. We are looking for a Founding Game Developer to design, develop, optimize, and deploy educational mini-games that transform financial concepts into engaging gameplay.

Responsibilities

• Develop browser-based and mobile-friendly mini-games.
• Build reusable game systems and mechanics.
• Integrate scoring, rewards, XP, coins, and achievements.
• Optimize games for performance across devices.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers.
• Deploy and maintain games.
• Fix bugs and improve gameplay based on feedback.
• Ensure games integrate smoothly with the PiggyPath platform.

Requirements

• Passion for game development and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to write clean and maintainable code.
• Understanding of game feel and user experience.
• Ability to work in a startup environment.
• Self-motivated and collaborative mindset.
• Portfolio including playable games, GitHub profile, or game jam projects.
