Graduate Engineer Trainee

Role Overview

Join Pitney Bowes as an Intern (Automation). You will be part of the team that designs and develops cloud-based offerings, deeply involved in leading the validation of SaaS-based offerings. You will collaborate across the organization with Architects, UX experts, product managers, and other software developers, using your expertise in building automation test frameworks to perform product sanity checks.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and maintain automated test cases and determine priority for execution plans.
• Maintain automated regression suites/packages to be compliant with changing requirements and features.
• Work independently to identify test cases/scripts from requirements and map them back to original requirements.
• Analyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into manual and/or automatable scenarios.
• Develop and execute testing automation for Cross Browser (Safari, Chrome, Mobile) and Android tablets.
• Participate in Agile working practices such as daily scrum, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a relevant field.
• Experience in Android application development.
• Exposure to IOT domain.
• Understanding of HTTP2.0 protocol, web applications, performance, and monitoring.
• Knowledge of user authentication and authorization (OAuth2.0).
• Proficient understanding of Gitlab, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge in network architecture and server administration.
