Software Test Engineer (Intern)

Role Overview

The Software Test Engineer (Intern) is a full-time remote role focused on ensuring the reliability and quality of Pixoate’s AI-powered visual platform. The intern will work closely with software developers to understand new features, participate in test planning, and help refine test coverage for web-based and API-driven components.

Responsibilities

• Executing test cases, performing functional and regression testing, and documenting test results with clear issue reports.
• Reproducing and validating reported issues.
• Contributing to test documentation and supporting continuous improvement of testing processes in an agile environment.
• Collaborating with developers to understand new features and refine test coverage.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of web applications, APIs, and QA methodologies.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira or GitHub Issues.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
