PHP Developer

Role Overview

At SLIC, we offer offshore staffing solutions to help businesses thrive in today’s fast-paced world. We are looking for a PHP Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining web-based applications. The role requires experience in backend development, database management, API development, and third-party integrations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web-based applications using Core PHP.
• Manage database design and implementation using MySQL.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and JSON.
• Handle third-party integrations including email/SMTP, biometric/attendance systems, and SMS/WhatsApp.
• Work with existing codebases to develop new functionality and ensure web security.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience in Core PHP.
• Good understanding of database design and SQL.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of Git and development best practices.
• Ability to independently understand requirements and deliver solutions.
